Seattle Car Accident Lawyer

Matthew D. Dubin: Hi, I’m Seattle personal injury attorney Matt Dubin, and if you’ve been injured in an accident, I know exactly what you’re going through because I’ve been through it myself. In 2004 I was rear-ended on I-5 and suffered multiple injuries, including a herniated disc in my low back. It took more than three and a half years of treatment for me to recover from those injuries, but I did recover. Because of that experience, I’m committed to providing compassionate service and aggressive representation to all of my personal injury clients.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I grew up just outside New York City and attended Yale University, where I received a degree in history in 1990. After graduation I went straight to work as a paralegal in a New York City law firm, did that for two years, and after that experience I knew for sure I wanted to be a lawyer. I packed my bags and moved to Seattle, where I attended law school at the University of Washington. I graduated with my law degree in ’95 and went to work at a small personal injury firm. I had no idea when I started law school that I’d be interested in personal injury law, but after a summer internship my first year of law school, I realized this is what I love to do and I still love doing it to this day.

After a couple of years working at that office I realized I had all the experience and skills necessary to represent injured clients on my own, and in December 1998 I opened my own practice, the Dubin Law Group. In my 19 years representing personal injury clients, I’ve learned a few things. First, there is no “one size fits all” solution to personal injury claims. Each person, their family and their circumstances are different, and each person needs a different result from the legal system. As an attorney it’s my job to listen carefully to what my clients are telling me, to understand what it is they need –

Process, and then to empower them with the information and the tools necessary to get the best results for them. The second thing I’ve learned is that the most rewarding part of the law practice for me isn’t the law at all. It’s the people I meet and the relationships that I build. I’m committed to treating each and every one of my clients as if they were a family member, and that relationship continues even after the conclusion of their case. We have fun in my office and we love what we do, but we don’t ever forget the seriousness of what we’re doing. We’re working with people whose lives have been turned upside down, and we are all committed to providing compassionate service while being as aggressive as we need to be to getting the best results for our clients.

I sincerely hope you’ll never need our services, but if you do I hope you’ll give us a call. We’d love to hear from you.
