PIERCE COUNTY, WA — A multi-vehicle accident early last Friday closed all westbound lanes on State Route 512 in southwest Puyallup, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The crash happened on the westbound highway at Woodland Avenue East, near milepost 6. It was first reported by Trooper Robert Reyer on April 29 at 5:06 a.m.

It was not immediately clear what led up to the wreck, but three vehicles were involved.

WSP and crews with the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) responded to the scene.

Drivers were warned of delays in the area and all through traffic was forced to divert to 9th Street Southwest.

By 6:19 a.m., the scene had cleared from the roadway and all westbound lanes of SR-512 were reopened.

As of this writing, authorities have not disclosed details on the parties involved or any possible injuries.
