SEATTLE, WA — A woman was taken into custody Monday morning, April 22, following a rollover collision involving two child passengers in West Seattle’s Seaview neighborhood, according to West Seattle Blog.
The wreck occurred in the 4700 block of 45th Avenue Southwest, near Southwest Alaska Street. By 9:46 a.m., the Seattle Fire Department’s rescue extrication team were en route to the scene.
Preliminary details indicate the woman was driving a dark-colored minivan when it collided with a parked pickup truck in the area, causing the van to roll onto its side.
While the woman and her two child passengers were able to self-extricate from the vehicle without serious injuries, officials arrested the woman on “suspicion of DUI and reckless endangerment” and transported her to King County Jail.
Both children were taken to the Seattle Police Department’s Southwest Precinct, but no other details have been made available.
