News: One killed in crash near Everett’s South Forest Park

SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — One person died Tuesday morning after a collision near the South Forest Park area in Everett, according to Q13 FOX Seattle.

Everett police responded to the scene on Rucker Avenue between 41st Street and 43rd Street at around 8:00 a.m.

No further details have been released at this time, but an investigation was underway.

A photo shared by police shows debris strewn over a right lane in the wake of the crash. It is not immediately clear how many vehicles were involved.

Authorities closed all northbound lanes in response to the crash.

Motorists were advised to detour through Colby Avenue, as the closure was projected to remain in place for hours.
