by | Apr 4, 2024 | Accidents in the News |

SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported late Thursday afternoon on Denny Way in Seattle’s Uptown neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department call log.

The incident unfolded at the intersection with Warren Place, in an area just above the Belltown neighborhood. It was first reported at around 4:06 p.m.

Little information has been made available, but officers with the SPD’s West Precinct were called to the scene of a motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) involving a truck. At least one of the involved parties fled the scene before first responders arrived, but the department has not yet released a description of the hit-and-run vehicle and/or suspect.

It was not immediately apparent whether anyone sustained serious injuries or had to be hospitalized.

Our team will publish an updated post as more details are shared.
