KING COUNTY, WA — One person was injured last Wednesday, March 27, as a result of a pedestrian collision on Southwest Sunset Boulevard in central Renton, according to the Renton Police Department.
The incident was reported at the intersection with Rainier Avenue South, near Renton Shopping Center. It was first reported by the RPD shortly after 8:00 a.m., some time after officers and first responders had already arrived on the scene.
Officials have not said what led up to the event, but one pedestrian required treatment for unspecified injuries.

It was not immediately clear whether the driver is expected to be charged, but they remained on the scene and cooperated with an investigation.
