SEATTLE, WA — Crews were dispatched to a crash Wednesday morning on 1st Avenue South in Seattle’s SoDo district, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The accident happened at South Stacy Street, leaving the right northbound lane blocked. It was first reported shortly before 8:48 a.m.
Officials have not released a statement regarding the cause or nature of the event, but the closure remained in place for over an hour, suggesting a more involved emergency response.
While no injuries have been confirmed at this time, SDOT cameras captured at least one fire engine responding to the scene.

Shortly before 10:00 a.m., crews had removed the wreck from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to the public.
