SEATTLE, WA — Authorities were called to a crash early Friday on 2nd Avenue in downtown Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The accident occurred at the intersection with Virginia Street, in an area just north of Pike Place Market and Westlake Center. It was first reported by SDOT at 12:14 a.m.
Officials have not provided information indicating the cause of the wreck, but the intersection remained blocked for more than an hour as crews responded to the scene.

Shortly after 1:30 a.m., the roadway was announced cleared with all lanes reopened to traffic.
