ARLINGTON, WA – The Washington State Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run collision that happened on WA 531 near 3rd Ave NE on Tuesday, according to Troop Rick Kelsey Harding.

A person driving a newer white sedan, possibly an Acura, was heading east on WA 531 when they crossed the center line to pass another vehicle and collided with a bicyclist heading east in the westbound lane around 5:45 a.m.
The driver hit the bicyclist with their driver’s side mirror and lost the mirror following the collision.
Details on the bicyclist’s condition are unavailable.
Authorities urge anyone with information concerning the incident to contact them.
