News: Police investigate suspicious fatal accident in Issaquah

ISSAQUAH, WA – Issaquah police say a 28-year-old man was found dead with stab wounds following an accident in Issaquah on Sunday night, reports Seattle PI.

According to Issaquah police, officers responded to a call reporting a single-vehicle collision at the 8200 block of Renton Issaquah Road Southeast around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 12th. Officers found the victim deceased in the driver’s seat with stab wounds to the head and neck. Due to the suspicious circumstances, the death was ruled a homicide. The victim was later identified as Cherno Ceesay by the The King County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Police also believe a suspect or suspects fled the scene of the accident. The circumstances of the crash and death are still under investigation. We will update this blog if more information is made public.
