News: Three-vehicle accident kills one, injures seven near Covington

KING COUNTY, WA. – One person is dead and seven others were injured in a three-vehicle crash near Covington.

The crash occurred at Kent Black Diamond Road and 160th Avenue Southeast at around 8:00 p.m. last Tuesday, according to The Seattle Times.  Two cars were reportedly traveling southbound on Kent Black Diamond Road when a northbound car crossed the center lane and hit them head-on. A driver in one of the southbound vehicles died at the scene. Seven others were transported to local hospitals in stable condition. Several of the victims were children.

King County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested the driver who crossed the center line on suspicion of driving under the influence. At this time, no further details have been released, but we will continue to monitor this story for any developments.
