News: Hit-and-run driver injures 2 people near Esperance Park

EDMONDS, WA – According to KOMO, a hit-and-run driver collided with two vehicles while eluding police near 224th St SW and 76 Ave W on Saturday.

One of the people hurt in the incident was a 63-year-old woman. Rescue crews transported her to Swedish Hospital with minor injuries. A 62-year-old man was also injured, but he declined medical attention.

The suspect is a 5’11” Black man who weighs around 150 lbs. He was last seen wearing a green camouflage jacket or sweatshirt with blue jeans. He may be armed.

Authorities urge anyone who sees the suspect to call 911.

The Edmonds Police Department is investigating the collisions.
