News: Driver collides with power pole on Aurora Ave N

SEATTLE, WA – A driver hit and knocked down a power pole on the 14200 block of Aurora Ave N on Sunday evening, according to KOMO News.

Police blocked off a section of Aurora Ave N so crews could work the scene.

Firefighters responded to the scene around 4:49 p.m. to deal with an electrical transformer fire and downed wires. Around 5 p.m., there was no active fire at the scene.

The incident caused 770 people to lose power. All customers have since had their power restored.

Crews will return to the area on Monday for further repairs.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the collision.
