SEATTLE, WA – A hit-and-run crash was reported Tuesday night in southeast Seattle’s Lakewood area, according to the Seattle Police Department call log.
The accident happened at the intersection of 42nd Avenue Southwest and Southwest Genesee Street, just a few blocks west of Genesee Park and Playfield. Officers with the department’s Southwest Precinct responded to the scene shortly after receiving a call at 8:58 p.m.
While officials have not yet released a statement specifying the nature of the event, dispatchers indicated a motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) in which at least one party fled the scene.
No injuries were reported immediately following the crash.
