SEATTLE, WA — Authorities were dispatched to a collision Wednesday morning on 6th Avenue South in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The wreck took place at the corner with South Spokane Street, near the eastbound onramp to Spokane Street Viaduct. It was first reported by SDOT at 6:46 a.m.
Very little information has been released following the event, but the intersection was shut down for at least 25 minutes, suggesting a more involved emergency response.
A photo captured at the scene shows considerable front-end damage to a black passenger car. It was not immediately apparent whether another vehicle was involved.
By 7:11 a.m., crews had cleared the scene and all lanes were reopened to the public.
