KING COUNTY, WA — At least one person was seriously hurt Wednesday afternoon due to a two-car wreck on Interstate 405 in Renton, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The accident occurred on the southbound lanes north of State Route 169. It was first reported by Trooper Rick Johnson at 3:33 p.m.
Officials have not shared a possible cause of the wreck, but at least one of the involved vehicles overturned, causing serious injuries.
Motorists were advised to find alternate routes around the scene, as traffic was being force to divert onto State Route 900. Long delays were expected in the area.
