WEST SEATTLE, WA — Emergency crews were dispatched to a two-vehicle collision last Thursday night in West Seattle’s Industrial District West area, according to West Seattle Blog.
The accident took place at the intersection of Harbor Avenue and Avalon Way before the West Seattle Bridge. It was first reported by WSB shortly before 10:30 p.m.
Local agencies have not disclosed the circumstances of the event, but a photo captured at the scene shows one vehicle at rest on the sidewalk and the other facing the wrong direction.
Motorists heading toward the eastbound bridge were advised against using northbound Avalon or southbound Harbor, as the intersection was blocked in the immediate aftermath.
No major injuries were reported, but by 11:02 p.m., tow trucks arrived on the scene, indicating significant damage to one or both vehicles.
Shortly after 12:00 a.m. into the next morning, crews had cleared the accident from the roadway.
