SEATTLE, WA — Authorities were called to a wreck Thursday afternoon that blocked up to two lanes on Interstate 90 in Seattle’s Atlantic neighborhood, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The accident impacted the westbound lanes just east of Exit 3B to Rainier Avenue South. It was first recorded by WSDOT at 2:35 p.m.

Details are limited at this time, but Medical Aid personnel and Washington State Patrol troopers arrived on the scene less than twenty minutes after the initial report.

The two right lanes were closed for nearly an hour, but at 3:20 p.m., only a single right lane was reported blocked.

Shortly before 3:30 p.m., crews had cleared the scene from the roadway and all lanes were restored to traffic.

At this time, officials have not disclosed the conditions of those involved.
