SEATTLE, WA — One person was hurt Tuesday evening due to a single-vehicle accident on the eastbound side of the West Seattle Bridge, reports West Seattle Blog.
Seattle Police and Seattle Fire Department crews responded to the scene at the start of the ramp connecting the bridge to State Highway 99 northbound. The accident was first reported by WSB at 6:32 p.m.
Authorities have not released a sequence of events leading up to the wreck, but the accident kept at least part of the ramp blocked for more than 80 minutes.
One person suffered injuries but did not require transport to a hospital.
By 7:55 p.m., crews had cleared the scene from the ramp.
No charges have been reported, and no further information has been confirmed at this time.
