SEATTLE, WA — Emergency crews responded to a crash late Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 5 in north Seattle, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident happened on the southbound interstate at 88th Street Northeast in the city’s Licton Springs neighborhood. It was first reported by WSDOT at 4:10 p.m.
Little information has been shared at this time, but the left lane was closed in the immediate aftermath. By 4:18 p.m., multiple emergency vehicles had arrived on the scene.

At 4:48 p.m., more than 30 minutes after the initial report, crews had cleared the accident and all lanes were reopened to traffic.

Officials have not indicated any injuries in the event.
