News: 1 killed in two-vehicle wreck on US-101 near Brinnon

JEFFERSON COUNTY, WA — At least one person died last Friday, October 7, after a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 101 near Brinnon, according to FOX13 Seattle.

The Washington State Patrol responded to the scene near milepost 309, a little north of Duckabush Road. It was first reported by Trooper Katherine Weatherwax at 8:38 p.m.

Few details have been disclosed, but officials said one of the involved vehicles was seen traveling erratically just prior to the collision.

A section of the highway was shut down in both directions during the response.
