News: Major crash involving Metro bus closes Bellevue intersection for hours

KING COUNTY, WA — A multi-vehicle wreck involving a King County Metro bus was reported Monday morning at a northeast Bellevue intersection, according to KIRO 7 Seattle.

The accident happened in the area of 156th Avenue Northeast and Northrup Way, shortly before 8:30 a.m.

No details have been disclosed regarding the cause of the crash, but Bellevue Police said two passenger cars were involved. It was unclear how the Metro bus was impacted.

As of this writing, no injuries have been reported.

The collision left the roadway blocked for three hours during the response and investigation. Motorists were asked to avoid the scene and seek alternate routes.
