SEATTLE, WA — A vehicle accident Wednesday morning blocked an HOV lane on State Route 99 near Seattle’s Georgetown neighborhood, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The crash impacted a span of the northbound highway on the 1st Avenue Bridge, just south of Michigan Street. It was first reported by the WSDOT at 8:25 a.m.
Officials have not shared details on the circumstances behind the event, but by 8:43 a.m., less than 20 minutes later, the scene had been cleared.
