SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — Multiple emergency crews were called to a crash Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 5 near southwest Arlington, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident occurred on the northbound lanes just south of State Route 531. It was first reported by the WSDOT at 2:40 p.m.
Officials have not released details on the circumstances behind the wreck, but footage taken at the scene indicate a cement mixer truck was involved.
Medics, Fire Assistance crews, and the Washington State Patrol all responded to the scene.
A left lane was shut down, causing a traffic backup in the area.
