SEATTLE, WA — Two people were hospitalized Saturday morning after a two-vehicle crash on the Highland Park Way hill in West Seattle’s Riverview area, reports West Seattle Blog.
The accident occurred west of West Marginal Way, near Riverview Playfield. It was first reported by WSB at 7:57 a.m.
Seattle Police did not share what caused the wreck, but two people suffered undisclosed injuries after two vehicles collided.
Photos taken at the scene show severe damage to the roof of a light-colored passenger car.
Multiple emergency crews responded to the scene, blocking a section of the hill west of the intersection.
Shortly after 8:28 a.m., tow crews had cleared the wreckage from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
As of this writing, it is unclear whether any charges or citations are expected to be filed.
