KITSAP COUNTY, WA — A 29-year-old Graham man has been identified as the motorcyclist who died Wednesday afternoon after a crash involving another vehicle in Bremerton, reports Kitsap Sun.

The fatal wreck occurred on Warren Avenue near 8th Street, shortly after 1:00 p.m.

Bremerton Police said an officer had seen two motorcyclists speeding southbound moments before one of the motorcyclists collided with a vehicle that was turning onto the road.

Officials said the rider was pronounced deceased at the scene.

No one else was reported injured, but the second motorcyclist was arrested and booked into Kitsap County Jail for suspected reckless driving. He also faces a charge for unlawful possession of a firearm.

The road was closed for more than two hours as crews responded to the scene.

On Thursday, the Kitsap County Coroner announced the victim’s name and described the cause of his death as accidental blunt force trauma.
