SEATTLE, WA — A vehicle accident late Thursday morning blocked a left lane on Interstate 5 near the Town Hall in Downtown Seattle, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The collision occurred on the northbound lanes at Seneca Street and was first reported by the WSDOT at 10:55 a.m.
By 11:10 a.m., Washington State Patrol troopers, Fire Assistance crews, and the WSDOT’s Incident Response Team had all responded to the scene.
It was unclear what caused the wreck or how many vehicles were involved.

Shortly before noon, the scene had been cleared from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
At this time, authorities have not confirmed any injuries.
