SEATTLE, WA — A vehicle collision Friday morning blocked two right lanes on Interstate 5 near Seattle’s North Beacon Hill neighborhood, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.
The crash occurred on the northbound lanes at I-90, near Dr. Jose Rizal Park. It was first reported by WSDOT at 6:05 a.m.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the wreck or how many vehicles were involved, but by 6:20 a.m., EMS crews, Fire Assistance crews, Washington State Patrol, and WSDOT’s Incident Response Team (IRT) had all responded to the scene.

In addition to the two right lanes, the incident also impacted the offramp to Edgar Martinez Drive.
UPDATE: Correction, this incident is on northbound I-5 AT I-90. In addition to blocking the 2 right lanes, this is also blocking the off-ramp to Edgar Martinez Dr. Medical Aid, Fire Assistance, WSP and IRT are on scene. Expect some delays if you’re headed north into Seattle.

Commuters heading north into the city were earned of delays.
By 6:47 a.m., the scene had been cleared from the roadway, with all lanes and the exit ramp reopened to traffic.
