KING COUNTY, WA — Three people, including two children, were seriously injured Wednesday night in a single-vehicle collision at a south Kenmore intersection, reports KIRO 7 News.
Kenmore Police Department said the crash occurred at the corner of Northeast 155th Place and Juanita Drive Northeast.
Details are limited, but authorities said the driver and two child passengers suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. All three were transported by Northshore Fire crews to an area hospital.
The driver was suspected of impairment at the scene and was taken into custody for vehicular assault and DUI.
Authorities also served a search warrant in order to evaluate the suspect’s blood alcohol level, which will determine charges.
