SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — Four teenagers were injured in a single-vehicle collision Wednesday, March 16, near Edmonds College in Lynnwood, according to KIRO 7 News.
The crash happened at the intersection of 68th Avenue West and 196th Street Southwest.
Details are limited, but Lynnwood Police Department said the car was speeding before it struck a telephone pole.
All teenage occupants tried to flee the scene on foot, but all suffered injuries.
Medics transported the driver to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries. He has since been cited for having no driver’s license, no car insurance, and for having open alcoholic containers in the vehicle. He also faces DUI charges pending blood draw results.
It was unclear whether the other three teens required hospitalization.
No further information has been released at this time.
