KING COUNTY, WA — A vehicle accident late Wednesday morning closed two right lanes on Interstate 90 near Lacey V Murrow Bridge from Mercer Island, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.
The collision occurred on the westbound interstate just west of West Mercer Way and was first reported by WSDOT at 11:45 a.m.
Initially only one right lane was blocked, but by 12:14 p.m., the closure was upgraded to two right lanes as Washington State Patrol and emergency crews responded to the scene.

Motorists were warned of a significant traffic backup in the area.
Shortly before 12:30 p.m., the scene had been cleared and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
