TACOMA, WA – A major collision shut down a portion of I-5 in Tacoma early this morning.
According to KIRO, the crash occurred along the ramp from SR-7 to the northbound lanes of the interstate around 6 a.m.
The events leading up to the crash are unclear at this time. However, troopers say at least 8 to 12 vehicles were involved.
One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Several other people were injured in the crash but did not require hospitalization.
