SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — A vehicle crash Monday morning blocked a left lane on Interstate 405 near the University of Washington Bothell in central Bothell, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident took place on the southbound lanes near State Route 522 and was first reported by WSDOT at 7:20 a.m.
On I-405 southbound at SR 522 there is a collision blocking the left lane.

It was unclear what led to the crash, but by 7:34 a.m., multiple emergency crews had responded to the scene, and the closure was upgraded to two right lanes. Authorities did not confirm how many vehicles were involved.

Shortly before 8:00 a.m., the scene was reported cleared with all lanes reopened to traffic.
