SEATTLE, WA — A vehicle collision Tuesday evening blocked an Interstate 5 offramp in both directions near Seattle’s Capitol Hill and South Lake Union, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident took place on the the offramp to Mercer Street and was first reported by WSDOT shortly after 5:00 p.m.
On the I-5 northbound & southbound off-ramp to Mercer St there is a collision blocking the right lane.

No details have been provided on the circumstances behind the event, but a right lane was left blocked, impacting the northbound and southbound offramp.
Shortly before 5:40 p.m., the scene was reported cleared from the ramp.
