SEATTLE, WA — A bicyclist was hospitalized late Wednesday morning after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene near the Kenwood neighborhood in north Seattle, according to KOMO News.
Washington State Patrol said the incident occurred at the intersection of Northeast 145th Street and 25th Avenue Northeast at approximately 11:45 a.m.
Little information has been reported on the moments leading up to the crash, but the victim was able to describe the hit-and-run vehicle as a white SUV or pickup truck
The injured bicyclist was taken to a local hospital to be treated for what appeared to be a broken clavicle.
