RENTON, WA — A vehicle collision Thursday night caused a ramp to completely close on state Route 167 near Renton, according to Washington State Department of Transportation.

The incident was initially partially blocking the SR-167 northbound offramp to Interstate 405 southbound and was reported at 10:00 p.m.
At 11:16 p.m., more than an hour after the first report, the entire ramp was shut down as authorities and emergency crews responded to the incident.
Late-night motorists were advised to take alternate routes around the area.
At 12:47 a.m., an hour and a half later, the ramp was reported to have reopened.

The nearly three-hour response time suggests a significant crash, though no other details have been reported on the vehicles involved or any injuries sustained.
