SPANAWAY, WA – A driver fled on foot following a major multi-vehicle crash on SR-7 in Spanaway Monday evening.
According to a tweet by the Washington State Patrol, the accident took place at about 8:49 p.m. near the intersection with 235th Street East.

Troopers say the unidentified driver of a blue Dodge Challenger slammed into the rear of a Ford Pickup Truck, causing the Ford to overturn in the middle of the road.
Fortunately, the driver in the pickup was unhurt. No further information regarding the hit-and-run driver has been released at this time.
