TACOMA, WA – The two occupants of a 1966 Ford walked away with only scratches after rear-ending a semi-truck along I-5 on Tuesday night.

According to a report by WSP, the accident took place in a road work zone along the southbound lanes of the interstate near the exit to Gravelly Lake Drive.

Troopers say the driver of the pickup failed to notice the semi slowing down in front of him and ran directly into the rear.

Fortunately, no serious injures were sustained by the drivers involved or workers at the scene. However, the pickup was totaled as a result of the crash.
