News: 3 adults, 1 child killed in head-on collision on SR-22 in Granger

GRANGER, WA – Four people were killed, including a three-year-old child, when two vehicles collided on a state highway southwest of Granger early yesterday.

KOMO reports that the incident happened on SR-22 near where it meets SR-233 at about 3 a.m. Wednesday. A passenger vehicle carrying two adults and two children was traveling west when it traveled into the eastbound lanes and collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle. Two adults and a three-year-old child in the westbound vehicle were killed in the crash, as was the driver of the other car.

Emergency responders rushed a three-year-old patient to a nearby hospital with severe head injuries and fractures. The child’s current condition is unknown.
