PORT LUDLOW, WA – A 55-year-old woman was injured in a multi-vehicle accident on Highway 104 in Jefferson County on Wednesday afternoon.
According to The Leader, the accident occurred around 3 p.m., when a 2005 Kia sedan that had stopped for traffic at the intersection with Sandy Shore Road was rear-ended by a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta. The force of the impact sent the Kia sedan into the rear of a 2001 Honda Accord.
A 55-year-old female passenger in the Jetta sustained serious injuries and required helicopter transport to Harborview Medical Center. Her current condition is unknown.
