News: Pedestrian fatally struck in Seattle hit-and-run crash

SEATTLE, WA – Police say a pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash in Seattle Wednesday night, according to the Seattle Times.

The incident happened in the 2400 block of Aurora Avenue North in the city’s East Queen Anne neighborhood. Police and emergency crews were dispatched to the scene at about 7:15 p.m. after reports that a 41-year-old man had been hit.

The victim was pronounced dead later at Harborview Medical Center. His identity was not released.

The southbound lanes of Aurora Avenue North were shut down to traffic for the crash investigation. So far there have been no arrests.
