GIG HARBOR, WA – According to KOMO, the Gig Harbor Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run collision that happened near Hunt St and Skansie Ave on Friday.
The driver of a black Mercedes SUV struck a 15-year-old boy as he was riding his skateboard to school around 7 a.m. The collision knocked the boy to the ground. He suffered a concussion.
Following the collision, the SUV did not stop. Police believe the hit-and-rn may have been intentional.
Authorities are searching for security videos to aid them in their investigation. They urge anyone with information concerning the incident to contact them.
