SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported late Tuesday afternoon in northeast Seattle’s Lake City neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department call log.
The incident was reported in the 12700 block of Lake City Way Northeast (State Route 522). Officers with the SPD’s North Precinct were dispatched to the area shortly after receiving a call at 4:46 p.m.
Very few details have been made public, but officials indicated a motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) involving a truck. At least one of the involved parties also fled the scene before first responders arrived.
As of this writing, the department has not issued a description of the fleeing vehicle and/or suspect, and it’s unclear whether anyone was seriously injured in the event.
