SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported Thursday afternoon in southeast Seattle’s North Beacon Hill neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The incident took place in the 2200 block of 13th Avenue South, near South Walker Street and a couple of blocks south from Beacon Playfield. Dispatchers first received the call at 2:36 p.m.
Little information has been disclosed to the public at this time, but officers with the department’s South Precinct responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) involving a truck. At least one of the involved parties fled the scene before authorities or first responders arrived.
As of this writing, it’s unclear whether anyone had to be taken to the hospital.
