SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported Wednesday evening in northwest Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department call log.
The incident unfolded at Northwest 54th Street and 15th Avenue Northwest. Officers with the department’s North Precinct responded to the area shortly after receiving a call at about 6:28 p.m.
Officials have not said what led up to the crash, but dispatchers indicated that a truck was involved and that at least one involved party fled the scene before first responders arrived.
No description of the fleeing vehicle and/or suspect has been released at this time.
