KING COUNTY, WA — Four people lost their lives as a result of a crash last Tuesday, March 19, on Southeast 192nd Street in Cascade-Fairwood, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident happened at the intersection with 140th Avenue Southeast, a few blocks east of the Vietnamese Buddhist Meditation Congregation. By 3:46 p.m., the KCSO’s MARR (Major Accident Response and Reconstruction) detectives were on the scene conducting an investigation.
Officials did not immediately provide any details about the circumstances of the collision, but the intersection was shut down for over four hours.
By 7:45 p.m., all lanes were reopened to the public.
On the following afternoon, March 20, a news release from the agency confirmed that four people were pronounced deceased following the crash, and three others were left injured.
