KING COUNTY, WA — A vehicle accident Thursday afternoon blocked two left lanes on State Route 520 near northeast Bellevue, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The wreck occurred on the westbound lanes of SR-520, west of 148th Avenue Northeast. It was first reported by the WSDOT at 2:00 p.m.
It’s unclear what led up to the crash, but the WSDOT’s Incident Response Team and local firefighters were on the scene shortly after.
By 2:21 p.m., more than 20 minutes later, crews had cleared the scene from the roadway and all lanes were restored to traffic.
