SEATTLE, WA — Crews were called to a vehicle crash Thursday afternoon on in West Seattle’s Gatewood neighborhood, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The accident happened on 35th Avenue Southwest at the intersection with Southwest Webster Street. It was first reported some time before 2:38 p.m.
While officials have not specified what led up to the collision, the northbound lane was blocked in the immediate aftermath, and motorists were asked to take caution as they approach the scene.
Shortly after 4:00 p.m. more than 1.5 hours later, the scene had been cleared from the roadway and all travel lanes were reopened to the public.

At least one emergency vehicle can be observed in a photo captured at the scene, but it’s unclear whether anyone was seriously hurt.
