News: At least 1 left hurt after hit-and-run on Aurora Ave N in north Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — Injuries were reported following a hit-and-run collision Thursday evening in north Seattle’s Bitter Lake and Haller Lake areas, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The incident unfolded in the 13000 block of Aurora Avenue North, near the Aurora Shopping Center. Officers with the department’s North Precinct were called to the scene shortly after receiving a call at about 8:51 p.m.

Little information has been made public, but police dispatchers indicated a motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) that left at least one person with unspecified injuries. At least one of the involved parties also fled the scene before authorities arrived.

As of this writing, the SPD has not issued a statement revealing the nature of the event, and no information about the fleeing vehicle and/or suspect has been disclosed.
