SEATTLE, WA — Crews were dispatched to a collision Thursday morning that caused traffic backups on Interstate 5 toward north Seattle’s Maple Leaf area, according to KOMO News.
The collision took place just north of North 85th Street, prompting a multi-lane closure at about 6:35 a.m.
Motorists were urged to find alternate routes around the scene as crews worked to process the area, but by 7:10 a.m., two right lanes had reopened to the public. 10 minutes later, all lanes were announced reopened.
As of this writing, local officials have not confirmed the cause of the accident or any resulting injuries.
